Synthesis and Evaluation of Antimicrobials in Space

CD-SEAS Mission Microgravity is a biomedical research company with the goal of promoting scientific discovery through research, the creation of lab-synthesized compounds, and testing in extreme environments. Its dual application is for the improvement of antibiotic effectiveness in space for both long and short-term space travel for astronauts, and for the development of potential new treatment options for fighting bacterial infections on Earth.

Updates: CD-SEAS was recently awarded the opportunity to put its first satellite in space.  Because of this challenge, we are initiating, developing, and designing an experiment that will orbit the Earth in 2018.
